Part 3

           This time me and my sister went to the activity place and we made frames for pictures. We colored them and put stickers. Mine was blue and it had polar bears and penguins on it. My sisters wanted to make theirs pink. After that we went to get our face painting done. I didn't want face painting because it just took too long for me to get off so my sisters got it done instead. After that we went to the party thing when everyone dances till midnight. It was fun, but i didn't dance much but my little sisters did and they had the most fun out of all of us. Later after midnight when everyone was tired my Dad grabbed my youngest sister's hand and pulled her through the crowd of people who were leaving while my Mom was doing the same to my other sister. My dad wanted to leave before he got stuck in the crowd but that was a total fail. 
       On the way I saw some chocolate chip cookies and took a few. They were so yummy. My little sisters got some too.  As always my sisters race to our room again. When we got to our room I got into my pj's and then tried some sparkling grape juice since it was given to us by the people who work at Great Wolf Lodge. We also got these glass cups and hats from the workers there.  I got the crown and I got the hat they gave us. The sparkling grape juice didn't taste that good. I really didn't like it all. It was a light greenish color that was all fizzy like a soda. After that I brushed my teeth, washed my face and and got ready fora long blissful slumber so I could rest up for the next exciting day at Great Wolf Lodge. Mason, Ohio is located in the Southwestern region. Cincinnati which is close to Mason is located in that same region. Ohio is historically called "The Buckeye State".

 

Part 2

 

        My little sister Minha and I went on the Hydro Plunge together and it was a lot of fun. We also went on a ride that gave my sister a wedgie! We call it the "Toilet Bowl". Haha! Soon it was time to go back to our room and all of us had to take a shower and get ready for the evening since it was New Year's Eve. So my parents found all of us and we got wrapped in our towels and head upstairs to our room. It was freezing once we stepped out of the water park. We all took long hot showers when we got to our rooms. After we got ready we headed down to the main lobby. My family and I went to dinner at a restaurant in the hotel. I forgot what it was called though. 
   
  I ate pizza that night and like always my sisters ate macaroni and cheese. My parents ate fish or something with salad. Since it was New Year's Eve we had to eat dinner early because we wanted to do all the activities there. I think all of us were anxious for the evening. At Great Wolf Lodge they always have activities for us to do in the evening such as face painting, coloring, a dance party and clowns! Every year it is different.  Last year we made picture frames got our face painted and we waited until midnight. On one of the year's we came to Great Wolf Lodge on New Year's we didn't get to make picture frames but it was still fun.  This year clowns were here which was fun.Later everyone who is at the Great Wolf Lodge activity thing dance at the dance floor. They dance till midnight until it's the new year. That's when we watch the news thing in New York and all these balloons fall down from the ceiling. At Great Wolf Lodge, or in Ohio, the food the eat or how they talk is nothing different from Louisville since they are close to Louisville. Ohio has a few more museums than Louisville though. The overall climate in Mason is kind of the same as Louisville. It's cold in the winter and snows and in the summer it can get warm like in the 80s.

                                       

Part 1

On December 31, 2010 I was leaving for Great Wolf Lodge. My family and i had backed the night before at the last minute. We left in the morning for an hour drive to Great Wolf Lodge in Ohio, across the bridge. Great Wolf Lodge is located in Mason, Ohio and it is right across from the water park Kings Island. My family was staying there for a few days. We left on New Year's Eve.  Once we got to our destination my Dad checked us in. Since it was New Year's Eve, there was a long line so it felt like we had to wait forever. I put all my stuff right next to a huge Christmas tree which was almost as tall as the ceiling! There were all these things you could take pictures with so my mom and my sisters and i took pictures while waiting for my dad to get us checked it.Once we got our room key my little sisters and I raced to our room.      When we got to our room my parents started to relax because my dad was tired so they watched TV while me and my sisters had already started getting ready to go to the indoor water park. After that we just watched TV in our bunk bed cabin like thing in our room there. Later, when my parents were not as tired we headed down for the water park. The indoor water park at Great Wolf Lodge have many rides like Alberta Falls, Coyote Cannon, The Hydro Plunge and much more. The Hydro Plunge is probably the biggest water slide there is in Great Wolf Lodge and its REALLY fun.  It's the only blue slide so it not that hard to miss. There is also a lazy river, some other little water slides and a plain pool which has waves in it like the ocean. My sister's and I just swam in the wave pool for a bit. We dunked each other in the water. My youngest sister couldn't come to the deep end because she can't really swim so she was at the shallow end with my dad watching her.                                                            We just got there.                                                              How it looked inside.
